There’s a reason Hollywood is in a VFX crisis rn and so many films have terrible CGI sequences despite coming from big studios. That shit is very expensive and time consuming while VFX artists get paid not enough for their efforts AND they’re required to work ungodly strenuous hours to finish projects. The result is very cheap, wonky looking graphics that are obviously not up to standards but the VFX studios are forced to put them out anyway due to deadlines demanded from their boss.
Aespa’s concept has a lot of potential but unfortunately SM doesn’t have the budget and time frame to consistently put out a quality product with stellar execution. A shame really but I saw this coming from a mile away. They bit off more than they could chew ultimately

I noticed this is always a major problem of SM, they will give priorities to the people close/related to their company job first than seek outside and hire people who are more competent . Like in aespa case, SM only sending them to variety show that still have relations with SM rather than other shows who are more exciting and could raise their name
They are putting all that budget on animating Naevis.
Doesn't SM always spend a lot on buying music from outside and they spend more on reproducing it to give it the SM touch. They should apply the same technique here, source people with better CGI and use it to suit Aespa's concept. Simple.
