i think the hip cut outs are kinda cute tho

all of them either conveniently forgot or hate y2k lowcuts

It looks bad. Just like flared pants.

all of them look weird

but personally i love low hip pants

not very comfortable but look awesome

I think some are a bit much, but most of them look good.

It's one of those trends that only celebrities and influencers can pull off. It would be considered a bit vulgar to wear in public for normal people.

the low pants + high underwear combo looks ridiculous just like it did in the 2000s

for me it's the same thing as this:

y2k was a big thing going from 1999 to 2000 right there's plenty of mention outside of kpop from the aftermath of that celebratiom

(i.e. some following new years were referred to similarly :2K16 2K9 etc)

though usually i'd refer to the 2000's style by just that "2000's style". nj has y2k attached to it like lingo so I used it

also i think crotch shirts also can give the hip cutout look without going super low (2000's low waist height) what do you think

I didn't live in that time either. Maybe we can make a short word for the 2010s called the Y2.1K but then that would be confusing as people would think it's a direct cousin of Y2K. Or the 10z. Or the Decade After

Oh right I remember people saying 2K18 or something.

These 2 different things (cutout shirts and low waisted pants) give a completely different impression to me. I don't really see it. But not a fashionista

tru tru. though I was thinking that they kinda both showcase the hips so low waisted pants would still have a competition from crotch shirts/ bodysuits. I'm fashion blind by most senses so this comment comes with a neat train-load of salt to throw behind one's shoulder.
