I usually prefer « pure » pop, ballads and pop/rock songs. I am mostly not very fond of Kpop songs influenced by R’n’B.

I love love love city pop and anything that has 70s/80s influences. Also, ballads. I know many people avoid them and I get it, most b-side ballads are filler trash, but sometimes you stumble upon one that can heal your broken heart, you know? (cough Abandoned by BEG cough)

I listen to kpop for the Pop aspect of it mainly. I can appreciate the other sub genres of Korean music but I'll always prefer pop most.

I really love ballads but they can't be the super soft twinkly piano kind. Give me a dramatic or moody or power or panty dropping ballad
