idk about aiiyl views with armys because they were confident they were gonna break it but they got absolutely mad when dddd broke the record of fake love which was released side by side. Ya ofc, yg used ads in the final hours of first day. I was even mass streaming the mv and seeing the view count when it happened. if u didn't know, this was a big incident and jyp and sm started using ads for their groups after seeing this and never stopped since but yg stopped using ads after this for first day for KTL and stopped it completely after that. jennie solo used ads too i remember because it was between that period. onces and blinks were at each others throats right from bp's debut i think. blackpink were everyone's favourite like how newjeans is now but craving for bp was on a different level because they barely released music and the rest (twice,rv) were releasing bubblegum pop lol. different times. 3rd gen.
