Saleswise they are probably one of the strongest midtier groups. But they also have higher costs just because they have more member.

The should be able to make a profit. Specially if they get promoted by a top company. But top companies do not want a group that is somewhat profitable. They usually want groups who are super profitable.

that's right 12 members which means great costs and for each member also less profit since assuming ceteris paribus they get less of the cut...

that is true...it's like why take a risk with a something that may make a profit when instead you can go for less riskier options

honestly i don't think any company would pick up all members. heejin and kim lip would probably thrive as solos anyway

I think these 4 plus Chuu could prepare for a comeback this year as a subunit. Wait till Loona's contracts finally expire whenever that is this year and debut the day after. Pretty sure they would sell decently, pent up Orbit demand would give them 50-100k at least even without the other members.

But this all hinges on whether the 4 girls can find a label that will sign them up together and whether they and Chuu actually want to redebut as a subunit.

Also seems like the only company that could scoop them in is Hybe only...

(SM already made up their kwangya thing, JYP maybe but idk if each squad wanna to manage another 1 additional group, YG is YG)

also there are benefit for them, since if they can convert orbits into hybe stans, than it will be undisputed that hybe stans would be the strongest mass in kpop
