Would be great, tbh, and I'd love to see it. But it doesn't guarantee that both songs and MV's will hit it big.
In fact, there are enough examples that show that this doesn't happen.

yep thats why i said it is disadvantage for small companies
also isnt doing better in terms of charting and sales the whole point of doing promotions?
it goes hand in hand with getting exposure
yes but there's a cost to all of that promotion - it ain't free and thus what I said about the cost - benefit analysis ...
is the increased charting/sales/exposure/brand awareness etc etc > the cost of getting that
ie. let's say a company wants to promote a bside and do new mvs/jacket shoots/music show performances etc but it's going to cost $200K if the increased charting/sales/exposure/brand awareness is going to be below $200K then it's obviously not beneficial to do it
I hope I'm making sense? lol
You mean like releasing proper albums with proper multiple singles?
That's not how it works lol
Twice can't just release 4 singles from the album & expect them to all perform like their usual title tracks
It's all about perception, so unless u debut with that kind of marketing,it won't work afterwards
I've for example have already lost that opportunity
It's a risk to take. All the title tracks can flop, become hits or one song is going to overshadow the others. Red Velvet released a double title track in 2015 with Automatic and Ice cream cake and the later totally overshadowed the former.
Not necessarily releasing a lot of singles, but If making MVs for multiple b-sides and/or performing a variety of them in Gayos, Festivals, Music and Award Shows, do choreographies and overall giving them a single treatment even If they aren't one would already be great If more common, but a few groups do it.
If they have the money for it, I do think more companies should do what NJ and BP have done with releasing pre-release Title Tracks.
