Should leaders in kpop groups get paid more?

they should all probably get paid proportionally to the revenue they bring in. whoever gets more individual gigs oughta get paid more regardless of position

do we know they don't get paid more? like a bonus or something?

they probably have managers to help out plus sometimes the younger ones are more responsible and take care of the older ones too and since korea is a hierarchical society, then you'd also have to pay the second oldest more for taking care of their 후배(juniors) and then have to pay the third oldest more for taking care of their 후배 and so on. i don't think there's any company out there that will be willing to do any of that

The rest of the members might get pissed, want equal pay and possibly cause tensions among the group. It happens in everyday work too if a colleague at a same skill level gets paid more.

I guess it depends on what type of responsibilitya leader has within a given group. Some leaders literally take care of others (cooking, cleaning etc), others lead by respect, others may be in name only while another member looks after the rest. Might be unfair if they feel a leader doesn't warrant a higher pay.

But then again they're already have to deal with the most popular members having more jobs, the skilled ones having more career opportunities and so on, so they might accept gaps in pay.

well idk maybe depends on how much they do or help????

cause some leaders have been together with the group so its not so much responsibility but take BTS 's RM. he translates & he keeps in the negative comments to himself + the hate they throw on him & how all of his brothers just generally gravitate towards him & he basically speaks for the group since he primarily speaks english especially when they're in the US; he speaks for them & translates the bad into good . but idk maybe altho it would be a tiny bit unfair but depends???
