Not surprised that they kept their most fav artists, GD and Taeyang.

Not really a surprising shake up. GD has free reign to do (or not do) basically as much as he wants, so staying with YGE makes sense. Taeyang has seemed to indicate an interest in being more active, so moving to TBL where he can still stick with his same style but perhaps release more than once in a blue moon makes sense. And Daesung was always more successful in variety/hosting and Japanese activities, so moving somewhere else would make sense for him.

His solo Wings was the best part of their Alive album. His voice is so good. I definitely hope he's able to sign with an agency that is much more active. I can't help but think how much he could have blown up had he ever really been given a shot; YGE squandered his comedic variety potential and never gave him a proper Korean debut.

Not surprised, they should have done more musically, but YG is perfect with dungeons.

About an hour ago it was reported that GD is still in negotiations and YG hasn't confirmed anything yet so it's still up in the air with him.

The members who were not involved in the the scandals should have promoted then but they didn't.

They generally were not managed that we'll considering their talent and popularity. They deserved much better.

so at the moment the only one officially staying in the YG family is Taeyang. I don't see GD leaving, at most creating a YG sub label for him and his projects.

this just confirms that BP has not renewed their contracts yet, if they had YG would've already informed the media and more importantly their investors/stockholders.

He was super successful in Japan and he could have killed it in Korea if they put any effort in (i know he had the scandal and everything but i think he could have come back from it - he had a fun double act with jaesuk of all people and an amazing voice!).
