We’re specifically talking about girl groups in this thread, not boy groups. The thread title itself even specifically mentions girl groups repeatedly so that we’re all on the same page here. BTS are awesome though.

Since all Blinks want me dead anyways I can say this without remorse. The only reason BP is Entertainer of the Year is as world wide distribution goes they are the largest, I believe them and BTS are the most well known world wide. Lots of people who have no idea what K-POP is know who BP are. I think if you confine it to anything else, BP looses really quickly.

Also, because I'm mean I'll say this bit of truth too. Time magazine would put Hitler in a bikini on the cover if it sales issues. Blackpink = Sales

BTS already got the entertainer title in 2020 and we know westerners can't stand giving kpop groups like BTS more than 1 year to shine. Also they probably didn't consider them since BTS only had an anthology album this year.
