all awards in AAA are attendance awards, sometimes it just fit, they also tend to split the daesangs so not one artists get more than 1, BTS could have their best year ever but they are never gonna get more than 1 daesang from AAA, IU hasn't won a single award for singing in this show for example (she has some for acting at least).

edit: This show doesn't have any kind of criteria, probably the only korean award with no criteria, they could pick the winners from a hat, which they are doing most of times.

lol what are you speaking about, i legit said in my first comment "Either way for a rookie is a very good and i'm sure they are happy to receive it", i just answered the person which quoted me, AAA is an attendance award, everybody knows but i'm sure idols appreciate it, especially rookies and smaller idols

Congrats to NewJeans, they had a SMASH debut and i'm happy they have got recognized for it tbh. Had they debuted a bit earlier they'd probably had more chances in award shows like MMA and MAMA.
