The next Queendom will be for Akgaes?

Will any popular groups participate in this?? Queendom was special because top groups and high mid-tier groups attended, not just nugus like other survival shows. At this rate it'll just be a new The Unit with a smaller number of contestants.

Still think it could be fun the watch but it'll be a completely different show. It's a whole new concept all together, nothing at all like previous seasons.

Also dislike the idea of fans voting on the member to attend. It'll be incredibly messy and worst case scenario a member who doesn't want or feel comfortable to compete on the show by themselves could be chosen. Better for the groups to decide themselves. But suppose Mnet only care about popularity not who will actually fit the concept of the show.

From a pure entreatment point of view I low-key love the idea . Collabs are the absolute best and getting a temporary group with ace idols from already debuted groups would be so much FUN.

They should remove the survival factor and instead focus on them just preparing for their debut together. Maybe do a couple of smaller performances throughout the show, both individual ones and as a group. If they must have a competition element to the show they could have them compete for positions. Who the main dancer, main rapper, main vocal and center is gonna be etc.

Similar to Idol Drama Operation (which had Seulgi, Somi, Yooa, Moonbyul etc.) but more performance focused and maybe with some light competition aspects.

Hmmm... could maybe work. Tho I'm still skeptical towards the voting. No popular idols will compete if there's a chance of them getting eliminated.

Sounds a bit like Boys28. The show was hella messy but the main problem was that they scored them as a group. Popular contestants kept getting eliminated because the group did badly. At one point the most popular contestant on the whole show even got eliminated (it was a mess!). Mnet tried to save it by letting fans vote for eliminated contestants to bring back. One trainee was brought back twice (a whole MESS). But individual scores would solve that.

Smaller groups would benefit from the exposure and maybe members from mid-tier groups who want to go solo. But yeah, we aren't getting anyone close to Mamamoo's or Gidle's popularity. They'd be lucky if a member from a group like WJSN or Lovelyz attended.
