Article: (G)I-DLE member posts a picture on SNS after MMA and deletes immediately... divided opinions among fans

    Source: Insight via Instagram

    1. [+213] I think she was just copying that popular sitcom line, no?

    2. [+154] Her post saying "thought that I had it all~~" is from her self-composed and written song ㅋㅋㅋ it was released this year and has been popular with international fans so please take a listen when you can

    3. [+77] Honestly, IVE had the better stats, though

    4. [+55] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Did Minnie even mention IVE anywhere in her post? She didn't even mention the I in IVE so why are people projecting onto her and interpreting her words to mean this or that

    5. [+33] I'm not shielding her ㅋㅋㅋ you guys are the ones who are imposing all sorts of interpretations on her and making up rumors on your own

    6. [+43] I don't get why IDLE fans are the ones who didn't vote and are now blaming IVE for IDLE not winning daesang

    7. [+39] Minnie should've been more careful, and I do think this was a thoughtless post by her~ I know IDLE fans think that they were daesang-worthy but when it came down to IVE vs IDLE, IVE had way higher points in votes and digital scores ㅋㅋ I don't know why fans are shielding Minnie so hard. Whatever her intentions were, she should know that she's an influential idol who should've been more careful with what she was posting!! Why should the other group who won daesang be dragged into this? It's not considerate to them.... ㅋㅋㅋ

    8. [+28] IDLE didn't win daesang?... ㅎ

    9. [+1] As a Neverland, let me just say that yes, her post can be left open to misunderstandings considering the timing of it, and I do think some disrespectful fans played a part in fanning the fire... ㅠ I also think it isn't fair for others to hate on Minnie for it for the shield her fans are giving her. Both sides are crossing the line with this... Yes, there's a lot of talk about who won the daesang, and I do believe IDLE was just as deserving of it, but IVE won it because they had the better stats. I think the best response for everyone should've been to just have a time of reflection and hope to win something at the next ceremony.

    10. [+2] I interpreted her post to mean more like she was shocked to win three awards at all! Not one mention of IVE anywhere 😂 I think she was in a good mood over winning three awards, which explains her subsequent posts... So odd of people to interpret her post as anything negative...

    11. [+12] So was the daesang on reserve for IDLE or something? It's not like IVE won it through unfair means. It's so funny to me that IDLE is acting as if they were guaranteed the daesang ㅋㅋ Shuhua too

    12. [+8] I feel bad for IVE. They're being beaten up by IDLE fans when they didn't even do anything wrong.

    13. [+10] Dammit, people are interpreting Minnie's post to mean whatever they want it to mean but it's just Minnie getting all the hate in the end...

    14. [+2] You haters have to be crazy... what idol would be crazy enough to write "is this for real" on their story as a threat to another idol group? She never mentioned IVE so stop with the blind hate. Your brains must be melting;;; as if I'm not pissed enough that we lost our soccer game;;;;

  • Like I said initially, her post was very open to interpretation and people took it as a negative when this whole time they could've taken it as something positive - the first line turned out to be a popular sitcom line that's trendy to use now, and the second line is from her self-made song. So instead of thinking - hey, maybe she's happy she won three awards and can't believe it, she's like, "is this for real, can't believe this happened", people concluded that she meant "is this for real, how could've this happened that we didn't win that other award". People put words in her mouth and she quickly deleted it probably to avoid confusion.

All of us here cap for idols and always say they shouldn't be apologizing for things when their companies force them, yet I've seen people why she didn't apologize. What to apologize for? People misunderstanding her? Isn't that silly?

  • Your post is titling it like as if everyone is unanimously saying it but just like on AKP in this post too people are divided and there isn’t really any context or clarification given here that’s not already been discussed.

Anyway I don’t really care what she posted. But opinions are as divided on k forums as they are here.

i always title it as "knetz" so at this point it should be obvious that i'm referring to these people in particular, not everybody in Korea

it's on you how you read and take it

"these particular knetz" doesn't really flow as a title
