How do you feel about the classical and musical inspiration in Kpop lately?

This is not new.

Hate the recent releases ngl, the way they've been incorporated just makes it kinda unlistenable.

Red Velvet felt successful to me. The concept was there for idle, but I couldn’t get into the song…

These ideas make me think about elast though… how they implement a more orchestral sound and have their mv’s take a dark, almost theatrical sort of edge… I find it neat and successful

Really? I think copying reggeaton and latino rythms is a bigger trend.

I don’t hate it. At worst i was indifferent to a song but I didn’t dislike any song adopting this trend. Feel my rhythm still gives me chills every time violin in pop music when done right is just *chef’s kiss*

I love the idea and Feel My Rhythms was amazing. But usually when it becomes too trendy it gets annoying (though I am not complaining because most of these songs sound good because of the classical element).

I am fine with it but I am not fan of all those classic sampled songs lately
