it's cringe but it's apart of their culture so I don't mind it too much. I only tolerate it when it's from a female idol who's naturally just cute

Then why I feel like the overwhelmingly majority of idols actually hate doing aegyo? If aegyo is so popular I guess most idols should enjoy doing it, right?

It's a thing in K-POP that honestly I can take it or leave it. When you can obviously tell the idol doesn't want to do but is forced I hate it. But if the idol does it cus they want to it's okay.

Different culture. Doesn't matter if it's cringe or not. It's super popular as well.

Aegyo, kawaii, it's something that's a part of Japanese and Korean culture, I don't mind it and sometimes even find it endearing and amusing.

I don't want need Asian culture to be a cheap clone or imitation of American culture, I like the diversity and variety in cultures with all their differences.

And as for fake and over-the-top mannerisms and behaviors, machismo and street swag is as fake and over-the-top as aegyo.

Personally, I prefer aegyo out of those over-the-top mannerisms.

I can only stand Sana's aegyo because she is just naturally adorable. Everyone else doing it is just so cringeworthy.. even Nayeon
