Who else thinks aegyo is kind of annoying

Not kind of.. Straight up actually.

yes.

To a certain extent.

yes

It's only fine when it's for the lulz or to make a member embarrassed by doing it.
-
Yeah but in Korea it's basically culture lmao. I prefer when idols are just naturally cute
-
It's super cringe, but a little here and there doesn't bother me. It's when the fans keep pushing for it.
Right but excessively is so weird and cringe
-
It can be sort of funny and adorable when an idol does it, but I find it is exaggerated a ton. I don't enjoy it at all to be honest.

I feel bad for them when they clearly don't want to do it.

Aegyo, kawaii, it's something that's a part of Japanese and Korean culture, I don't mind it and sometimes even find it endearing and amusing.
I don't
wantneed Asian culture to be a cheap clone or imitation of American culture, I like the diversity and variety in cultures with all their differences. And as for fake and over-the-top mannerisms and behaviors, machismo and street swag is as fake and over-the-top as aegyo.
Personally, I prefer aegyo out of those over-the-top mannerisms.

right, a lo of them don’t like doing it but it’s fan service
