why does someone need to finish college at all? not all people let alone idols need to attend college

everybody has a different path in life and college isn't the be all and end all to finding a job - lots of people can have a successful and productive life without attending college so it's the same for idols no?

and further more just because they don't attend or partake in the CSATs this year doesn't mean that one cannot go back when they ready and attend college at a later point in life...I know personally of a few people who because of financial or other reasons couldn't attend college straight out of high school but went back many moons later

I completely agree with you. A college education is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and it's important to recognize that everyone's journey is unique. This is especially true for idols, who often have extremely demanding schedules and responsibilities. They might find fulfillment and success in their careers without needing a college degree.

Yes a degree isn't a one size fits all but it does give you peace of mind and some job security. People often forget not everyone that becomes an idol makes it big and even some big idols fall into irrelevancy and end up broke over time. Plus this career is exceptionally demanding these people train nearly half their youth to be a idol at the sacrifice of social skills, street smarts and academics to the point most idols could not live as a normal person they'd have to crash course how to human for dummies. So having some formal education is good. There's exceptional people who excelled at this, look at Jay park as an example because of his education he was able to not only be a successful celebrity but run multiple kpop companies that thrive and produce groups. Then you have idols like Cha Eunwoo of astro who has a degree and then you have the highly successful and rich idol Xiumin aka Kim minseok of Exo who's studied his entire time as a idol and became literally a doctor. He even has a doctorate.

No. They can do that after idol life or whatever they choose. The chance to become an idol is a once in a life time opportunity. With that being said, I wouldn’t want a relative being one unless it’s with a big 4.

Personally for me, no. They don't need to at all. I went thru 13 years of higher education and have had a great outcome from that, my debt is at an all-time high. But the minimum one should have is an HS Diploma at the very least since most of the time it's free.
