Was Nayeon the main character of Sixteen???

She is a victim of evil editing so perhaps the main villain?

Nayeon didn't do that well performance wise in the show but she definitely was one of the more popular contestant of the show right from the beginning.

Nayeon was the main character of cuteness during the show.

yes. mnet presented it as Nayeon, the company's ace, the complete idol, go getter & knows what she wants. Other girls also have storylines. The jline got one. Base on what I remember, Momo struggled because out of the three she was the only one underperforming. She kept getting outshine by someone younger than her. Sana have the same storyline as Jihyo & Jeongyeon, long time trainees that wants to debut. Mina is the pretty new trainee that got in easily when she only trained for more or less a year.

I think the ones in twice who did not get a solid storyline that is easy to follow are the younger ones.

I did not like Nayeon when I saw Sixteen (I saw Sixteen before I was a fan). Don't remembered if it was the editing or what but I always felt she was very rude and mean

She got evil edited so much in this series and I'm still so mad about it. It's always infuriating when this happens so show runners can attract viewers. I hate that they could possibly ruin someone's reputation just so they can get a little extra views.

And the fact that this is something that they spent months on years on and basically sacrificed their younger years for this dream makes it 10x worse. Maybe don't evil edit something that makes something they've been preparing for a good fraction of their lives all go down in the dirt.

Eh, no...that was pretty much only one episode. Everyone else pretty much admired her. She was facing criticism for her appearance and they went with a claim that it slows you down in your dancing but she was already set to debut.

I think there were 3 contestants that had a solid chance of debuting according to JYP and that was easily Jihyo, Chaeyoung and Momo. Her talent and leadership skills were stronger than her appearance the whole way through.
