What’s your general opinion of Aespa’s future?

They will be bigger than RV but smaller than blackpink if that makes sense.

Its been only 5 months since they debut, and I can already see so much potential, they will get global, or at least big in Korea, and somewhat known internationally (kind of like 2NE1 was)

I'm not sure another girl group will reach BP's global level.

Yeah It's tricky, I don't think any group will be as big as BP and BTS, I feel like kpop peaked with their popularity and it won't get bigger than that, but I suppose people said the same with SNSD in second gen

One things for sure is im 100 percent sure they will lead 4th Gen with their dancing/vocals/ rapping and visuals, they're all rounders all around

Big like twice and red velvet but not internationally. They’ll go big in Japan and China since the members are all over asia

TBF they are already huge in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand and countries outside Asia, I think they will surpass RV and Twice Hoping they gain Japan support as well

Based by one song it is hard to say, but I would guess similar to RV.

I think they’ll be on Twice’s level maybe even bigger than them. But definitely not on Blackpink’s level. Between Twice and Blackpink

I agree with this. BP is unmatched but SM's planning for aespa to go global so i'd say they'd be on their own league.

Bp's debut months were on another level of hype and excitement with kpop being much smaller. And I disagree it's not all about music, bp are so big for a variety of reasons (I mean quality music is obviously part of it), let's be real they could release garbage now and it would outstream everyone except for bts

I said "turn it into a fandom" bp turned their hype into a sustainable fandom hence they could outchart with garbage

But Aespa needs bangers now & SM isn't known for that

Ygngg is an odd one, YG don't hold the same level of clout they used to do in Korea but the YG brand is still strong in Asia seeing how well treasure is doing

I have no idea about her rapping and I'm not the biggest fan of her visually lol (even though I think she's good looking, just weird to me for some reason) but yeah there is potential since she obviously seem to be the most popular in their group.

I think YG's gg will do just fine seeing how they are following a similar but at the same opposite approach than treasure (instead of japanese they going for chinese trainees or so I heard), so that alone should guarantee decent album sales. The fact they will be blackpink's sister group will give them another boost as well

It's true and aespa have a really fresh concept and assuming their MV will connect, that will be really interesting and something fresh and new in kpop, it'll be similar to Chris brown (some of his MV connects), SM really aiming for some aespa Multiverse

I don’t know them so don’t really have an opinion.

I had very high expectations and they surpassed them. I liked BM a lot. On the I-fan side I've seen the members get a lot of love. On the kfan side people already started calling karina as sm's representative visual along with yoona. Winter is also getting a lot of love after her aespa line went viral. So I think they've had a successful debut.

not bigger than BP buy I can see them being bigger than RV and maybe twice , they can promote easier in English speaking places and NingNing has China whipped meanwhile Karina and Winter has Asia and Giselle is getting love from I-fans in the end only SM can make or break aespa succes

Imo, they'll be popular in Korea but not as loved and groundbreaking as Twice. They'll also be neck to neck in popularity with Itzy in the International Market with aespa being more popular in China but not the popularity of Blackpink. In short, not an ngg nor a ggg but somewhat in between. That's also the problem with Itzy tbh but I feel like Aespa would be more popular in the long run what with JYP preventing solo activities. Sm will push the 4 of them with solo activities and that would be their advantage. They're moving and copying blackpink tactics in marketing and its working out good for them.
