If it’s in Korea I don’t think GG stans will be able to fill up those shows esp that many. It’s the sad truth.

But outside of Korea I think it’s fair game esp since 3rd gen and beyond.

BTS is attending Fact Music Awards show this year, but I'm not sure if they will attend most award shows this time. Hopefully they do.

MAMA 2020 was also full of boy groups, there were 6-7 ggs to 18 bgs. The other award shows only had 3-4 ggs, while MMA only had Oh My Girl and Izone.

We just want to see girl groups too

These shows only invite acts that brings ratings, especially for Mama. That’s why BTS did not get any invitation in their debut year despite winning best rookie at MMA

i think the award shows usually invite more performance based acts

Waiting to see which of these korean award shows will be the first to successfully convince YG to let Blackpink attend

The thing is, as I already mentioned above, is that the BG's also just seem to get more stage time.

I have no interest in BG's, so when they are on, I mute them and do other stuff.

In some awards shows I've muted the BG performances, gone and made a coffee, popped to the bathroom, whatever, popped back 10 minutes or so late and the same BG is still going, on their second or third song. Just goes on and on.

Then the GG I'm interested in finally appears. Does one song. Leaves.

I even kind of remember some performances where they've performed a shortened version of the 1 song only.
