In my opinion hard choreo among gg starting to rise after gfriend hit it big with Rough, everyone is praising how hard their choreography, then with early 2016 blackpink (boombayah, whistle). But the thing is that dance is nice to watch. Another example is with Twice Fancy

Nowadays its a little bit overdone and in some cases the dance look kinda weird

Nmixx is doing well. They will gain ten times more fans than Momoland or Brave Girls will ever get.

It doesnt matter if catchy or hard choreo. If you are from a big company you will do well.

And If you are from a small company it also doesnt matter. For every Momoland that got lucky there are 99 good songs from small groups that go unnoticed. And seeing the short life span of most groups. i doubt many idols are willing to spend so many years in nugudom, with several part time jobs to finance idollife, untill you finally get noticed like Brave Girls.

Also dancing hard is probably what most groups can do. Go viral because acting like yooe or have the dedication of Brave Girls is what other groups cant copy that easily.

Comparing to some boygroups who look like monkeys on cocaine when they are dancing, girlgroups dont have intense choreos.
