Like this isn't even related to BP or BTS, this is just blatant racism and it isn't the first time there is a recent similar comment like a few days ago and mods let this fly by

And no this isn't an overreaction. Many many times this "SEA cafes" or "SEA streaming" racist comments were made to insinuate that SEA fans are just only useful for streaming and literally contribute nothing as fans. Historically haters use this to insinuate that SEA fans are poor as fk and cannot afford albums and that's why they only stream and have cafes with multiple computers to stream songs and that is the only thing they are good at.

This isn't an attack to any fandom. It's just that I have no idea why it is ok for people to post comments like this and mods let this fly by. And also, the chances that if a similar comment is to be posted on the main forum and no one bats an eye is probably very high as well

mods usually dont post comments that cross the line or they modify them. they cannot see users .

While harsh, everyone knows about fans in SEA using internet cafes to mass stream comeback songs. To be fair, fans from other areas are also guilty, albeit at a lesser scale, while posting clips of themselves streaming from their pc, laptop, tablet, smart tv, and phone(s).

people see china fan bars buying the most albums and albums charting in jpn literally one of the biggest music industries and ignore most of asia. SEA fans are also streaming, buying and going to concerts just like western fans. Its racism that the latter is seen as a thing of pride and former is seen as a drag.

Kpop stans should realize most of their faves wouldn't even see any sort of numbers on streaming platforms if it wasn't for SEA. The people who have welcomed kpop.
