Why does Korea like Pink Venom more than Girls?

I liked Pink Venom at first listen. You need to listen to Girls a few more times for understand. Not as catchy as Pink Venom. Also, it's not have refreshing melody like Pink Venom, it's better to listen to refresh songs in the summer.

Song wise it baffles me because I think Girls is a better song.

But I guess people there didn't like it.

BP is the kind of artist that make people check their music so it's not surprising it's doing well.

It remains to be seen if it will have longevity.

The two are not the same songs so of course their performance will differ. Additionally Blackpink is the more popular group of the two coming off a long hiatus so of course pink venom would have an explosive start compared to Aespa.

How hard is to understad that Black pink is the biggest gg in sk right now so obviously they'll smash anyone in first day irrespective of song

bp is one of the biggest cbs of the year, ofc korea will check it out and it's exposed to more ppl than girls

BP has remained the biggest gg. Aespa is an up and coming new group. BP toppped every poll and searched and stuff without releasing anything. Not sure why it would be shocking to see excitement for the actual release.

Yesterday when people were comparing PV and G, I went and listen to both just to be sure. Weirdly, after 3rd time listen, I definitely like Pink Venom better than Girls. There’s something catchy about the chorus. And of course the rap part is amazing. I just can’t get over the ratata part though. The “r” sound so pronounced and ugh.

It's a bigger, better song from a bigger, better group.

Because Girls wasn't really that good and I'm a fan of Aespa.

Illusion almost outchart Girls after promo for girls ended. So that really says a lot about Illusion being liked by public
