This Redvelvet song is too underrated

This is one of my fave Girlgroup songs of all time. I remember the day it was released, I wasn’t and am not a Reveluv but I truly connected with this song in a way that was indescribable. It’s such a heartfelt, beautiful yet sorrowful song.

When it was released it ‘flopped’ in comparison to their other songs at the time. People were calling the song generic and baffled that SM would release a ballad as a title track. The song underperformed.

Then there were analysis of the symbolism in the MV that many believe is representing the final moments of the victims in the Sewol Ferry tragedy.

However, that hasn’t been confirmed but it does add to the hauntingly sad vibe to the video.

Anyway, I love this song and it does bring me tears when I hear it. The lyrics are beautiful.

I agree! It's one of the most beautiful RV songs for me, and they're best ballad imo (I do generally like their non-ballad songs more though).

The instrumental and their gentle vocals, so beautiful. And all of the symbolism and possible influence by the ferry accident makes it even more profound and sad.

I had no idea it was so underappreciated, in that case then I wish it was more recognised!
