Why do kpop fans love to pretend to care about filler or unpopular members to make themselves feel better but won't support them?

I mean when people were dragging Garam, how she can't sing brings nothing to the table, many made sure to say "leave Eunchae out of this". Why? The girls is not talented either and unpopular for a reason. Hypocrites love to throw "She's so underrated", but what is there to rate? She can't sing nor does she have visuals Garam has, but ifans love to be not like other girls and pretend to act like she is needed in the group. I don't know how she got into source, let alone lsf. Apparently, pretty child actress got dropped by source but for some reason picked Eunchae.

Nct fans love to cry about another fillers that are Sungchan and Shotaro, but what jobs can sm give them? Dream and 127 are the main priority for them. Sungchan can't sing and is not popular enough for lead roles. Shotaro is basically a glorified back up dancer whose lines were awful in universe. Jaemin is also talentless and he stays terrorizing my ears with his lines, but at least he is popular and brings money to the group with his face and i guess charms the way Kazuha does.

Fx Luna debuted and no one supported her. People can't even blame bad songs bc hers was really good. I remember when smart people got fed up and called the "She's so underrated, sm is evil for not investing in her" hypocrites out for not buying her music.

Chaeryeong and Chayeon have the same set of skills, but look what happened to Chayeon. All that praise yet not one job after the show she was supposed to thrive on exposed her for the mid she is. No demand for her because people who love to throw backhanded compliments, are nowhere to be found and won't support her which is why her company didn't care to make her debut. The same fate awaits Chaeryeong too. She knows and she stays on "i'm so sad no one cares about me" train to make people pay attention to her.

We all know whoever is unpopular, is unpopular for a reason. If what I said is not true, feel free to share your opinion.

People love the underdog story but that's not what happens in real life. In real life visuals matter and talent doesn't mean shit when the visuals aren't up to par.

just because there are 10 people that support (and talk about it in a thread or a tweet), it won´t mean that each will buy more than one album. Some people can afford to even 1 album ok?

and from 10 voices you read, only 1 or less will buy your album. Lets say is 1 out of 1000. But if you are not so popular , then you can´t sale s**t

Chaeryeong has blown up though, folks are wakening to her visuals.

It KILLS me to say this about Chaeyeon, she is literally the best dancer in all of Kpop, but RBW probably did the market research for her and realized that she probably wouldnt be selling enough albums to make it profitable for them. Her Western Ifans scream bloody murder about her (including me) on social media, but we wont be around when it comes time to shell out 40 bucks for an album including the ripoff shipping prices. She needs a strong local or Chinese/Japanese fanbase to justify a full fledged physical album.

Her Izone labelmates have raised the standards incredibly high for 4th gen female soloists, 60k - 150k is the range, imagine how sad it would be if she sold 12k or whatever.

However, RBW could help her out by continuing to book her for everything out there, covers, acting roles in entry level webdramas, have her carve out a niche career in entertainment.

Lol who's watching those webdramas if she hypothetically gets casted. Lets not sugarcoat it but her visuals is a weak point, and her acting in a drama will only exemplify that.

Her best bet right now is to just survive on being an influencer and doing YouTube content. As a singer or an idol will just be rough and I don't think her company or anyone else is willing to invest all that into her at the moment.

Shotaro is one of the best dancers in NCT. Sungchan can rap, sing and dance. No one thinks those two are filler members.

I support all members of my bias group but I'm only one person so it doesn't make much difference.

I think it's shitty when some fans are all talk about supporting all members but when it comes down to it, only support their bias so I unfollow them when they're like that.
