Pretty Savage is one of Blackpink's best songs! I agree with you, it was a lot better than Dx4, though I liked that song, but it would have been epic if PS had a MV

YG don't react to good responses. Forever young never even got an MV and now pretty savage.

I genuinely think ps was meant to be a title track, but yg changed It when they saw the hylt backlash

Jisoo confirmed it was between LSG and PS. Honestly, even Jisoo saying that, we all know it was really between 3 songs for the lead single. YG wanted LSG or PS and Interscope wanted BYW.

Pretty Savage is way better than HYLT. HYLT should've been a b-side or just scrapped, tbh.

The pre-release singles should've been PS and then BYW because it has the same summery vibe as IC. PS has so much potential for an amazing music video. Especially, towards the end with Rosé's bridge and the beat change. It could've showcased Black+Pink perfectly.

I said this before and I'll say it again, there is nothing that PS does better than HYLT except for the bridge. HYLT is just superior. With that said, Lovesick Girls is better than both and my opinion and taste is magnificent.

100% agree, don't see why HYLT had to be the prerelease.

Also, if PS was meant to be promo-ed along with LSG, I think COY or even LTHM would have been a better choice for the pre release. I like HYLT but the other gons on the album are truly gold and don't see why HYLT had to become the prerelease.

U krazy? HYLT is now sitting at 27 on Melon after 6.5 months. It's longevity is INSANE, it's outlasted every digimon out there except IU's Eight.

PS should've been released as a TT. It does what D4/KTL did, but with more style and finesse. This would've broken as many records and had as much longevity as HYLT if it'd gotten the same treatment. The only thing hindering it is the fact that it's a b-side. It was sassy, bold and in your face with the perfect blend of feminity and grace.

To be honest, I do think most tracks in the Album would have deserved a full treatment. Pretty Savage, Love To Hate Me, You Never Know...

I'm not sad that LSG was picked, though. This song is absolutely amazing, and 100% deserved to be a title track.

pretty savage deserved a mv, the song itself is a bop, although i prefer hylt and LSG, Pretty savage could’ve been bigger than it already is

pretty savage is very different from their earlier while hylt still goes very much hand in hand with previous releases so pretty savage would have gotten so much more attention if it was a pre-release track
