Isn’t Niki one of the members who’ve gained the most popularity after debut tho? He most have recovered at least partly.
He barely made it into Enhypen. He usually ranked outside the top 7 on Iland and most viewers thought he was gonna get eliminated in the final. Don’t know Enhypen’s popularity ranking but Niki is always the member who’s fancams get the most views.
On Iland he was evil-edited to look greedy and self-centered. Haven’t seen him get any hate for that after debut either

Yeah, he had at first the betrayal storyline in which he voted out his closest friend.
Then he was portrayed as the egotistical contestant who wanted to stand out. His performance in Flame on burst his popularity and thanks to this he was voted in the line-up.
