It’s true that once a group stops generating hype they’re on the decline

I’ve been a Kpop fan for over a decade and I’ve noticed this pattern.

Girls Generstion stopped generating hype after Mr Mr and have never recovered since.

Exo stopped generating hype after 2018. Even though they had a comeback in 2020&2021 they failed to make impact.

Twice stopped generating hype after 2019 with feel special being their last comeback to do so.

Itzy stopped generating hype after Wannabe.

And I’m seeing the hype for BTS slow down too. Don’t argue with me on this ya’ll know it’s true.

IVE has hype, NewJeans has hype. Why? Because they’re not on the decline.

Out of all 3rd Gen groups, BLACKPINK is generating hype. I wonder how much longer they can sustain this for.

Tbh red velvet already stopped generating hype. I think psycho was the last time they had a hyped up comeback. Sure people were looking forward to Queendom but from the teasers alone people knew they were gonna be disappointed which is why the song didn’t do so well

the Feels isn’t close to being their biggest song. It’s not their most streamed, not their most viewed, not their highest charting either. It did somewhat better than their Korean singles internationally but only because it’s in English. And there wasn’t a big amount of hype for it either

The comeback wasn’t hyped up initially though. The song is doing well right now which would create some hype for their next comeback but only time will tell
