- Music released these days are lack lustering.
- Comebacks are underwhelming.
- New group's releases are either weird, noisy or too much experimental.
- Questionable youtube views
- Making songs for tiktok challenge just to make it viral
- Music show performance is just lip sync and acting on camera
- Over performing equals to good stage presence
- Debut survival shows are no more fun.
- HYBE turning into next SM
- Newer idol visuals looks abnormal and plastic.
- The amount of underaged minor idols getting something done on their face
- Plastic surgeries and cosmetic enhancement looking way more obvious
- rip good music. when can i see u again?

Kpop wouldn’t be Kpop without people saying it’s dying, just as they have all the years I’ve been following it.
-
-
Also forgot to add
- mediocre is the new good
-
Thank goodness it’s the weekly “Is KPop Dying?” Thread
-
Have you been keeping up with recent kpop sales? Its well and alive what you're experiencing is what many who were fans of previous generations feel. They are simply growing out of the genre.
-
It's always "is kpop dying" and never "should I just get a new hobby"

as a nct fan, u should be worried most. considering how music has gone so bad

For me too kpop hasnt been as fun and interesting as it used to be but album sales are growing exponentially so I guess there is an expanding audience somewhere who still likes it
