I feel like leaders of groups are the ones that actually get the short end of the stick when it comes to popularity. Karina and Irene are the only top dogs in their respective groups, and Karina is challenged by Winter so it's not even that clearcut.
OTOH RM, Jihyo, Eunbi, Bangchan, S Coups, Taeyong, Soobin, Yeji, Yujin Choi, Yujin Ahn, EU, Haseul, Soyeon, Sumin, and Haewon are all examples of leaders who are not the most popular or even close to the most popular in their respective groups.
