I don’t think the old type of cute concept will be big again, at least not internationally, but I could see a new type of cute concept taking over. Newjeans for example is undeniably a pretty cute group, just not in the way we’re used to in kpop

Agree to this. I don't really want the cringy type of cute concept. There's a lot of anime they can used as reference and it's definitely a win-win situation for me.
The cute concept has morphed into the teen crush concept so basically a blend of the two bigger cute and girl crush. So I agree I don't think the concept will ever comeback to its original form and will just continue to evolve in new ways. I think Stayc is the best example of that and probably the more cute ggs out here right now.
