Why are New Jeans stans saying that their music is different because it isn’t noise when Ive, Le Sserafim, and StayC exist?

I've heard other songs by ggs through bop vs flop.

Somehow, all of them are a no for me until Attention happened. It just clicked.

There is not much music going on for them right now, but they have the right vibes.

I feel like i've heard Hurt a trillion times already growing up, there are probably 1000 other songs released in the US in the 80s, 90, 00s that sound like it. It's played out. I mean if MHJ really wanted to make a statement, how about having these girls do something really special like 80s rock. Like instead of a boring RnB ballad like Hurt, how about a balls to the wall power ballad like this:

I get that the strategy marketing they are doing is new, and I get that fresh feeling. But other than that, been there done that imo

because it's the same thing one hears every time a group comesback/debuts...

it's to hype up their group whilst simultaneously throwing rocks at other groups

The songs directly sound like they’d fit in any SM GG album I guess pre aespa but even that they could be b sides.

It’s ok for y’all to like pop music that is actually quite common and for the music to STILL be good y’all lol. We don’t need the “not like other girls” energy to justify why music is good or why you like it.
