Jennie will star in an HBO show called "The idol", produced by Abel Tesfaye and starring Tesfaye, Lily-Rose Depp (daughter of Johnny) and others.

Mr. Tesfaye is better known as the Weeknd.

The alliance against BTS would have been probably led by either the Weeknd, and the Weeknd made his move by allying with BlackPink. However, BTS is in a semi-permanent hiatus, weakening the Weeknd's move a bit.

Still this alliance will propel the Weeknd to the top of Pop in my opinion.

Historians can only guess what would have been the result of a battle between BTS and the Weeknd - BlackPink alliance. It would have been a 'close run thing'.
