what is the current ranking for 4th gen girl group?

I would still put StayC above LE SSERAFIM, they have more hits. Kinda unfair considering LE SSERAFIM debut literally only months ago, and even got hit by a scandal

It's honestly quite tricky with 4th gen so far because different groups are excelling or failing at different metrics, and it's near impossible to draw any sold conclusion if you want to consider all metrics at once.
The highest and longest charting groups aren't the highest selling.
The highest selling aren't charting any near as well as expected.
Engagement is all over the place.

Please note that none of the below is meant as any kind of shade. Just my opinion on how they're doing.
I would still put AESPA number 1, but IVE are gaining on them.
A bit harder for me to place (G)I-dle, as they are almost 3rd gen and there was a time when people still used to consider them such (or gen 3.5). With Tomboy, I would say they are very near IVE, but they need another recent hit to challenge for number 1.
Top 3 could very much fluctuate in the coming year.
ITZY is fourth. They had an amazing debut, but never recaptured that glory charts wise since then.
They are in real need of a big hit, and I think every comeback that isn't one, makes it less likely that they can compete for top 3. The danger is that even newer groups might push them down further and it doesn't help, in my opinion, that JYP already debuted another girl group. Some solo activity might help get more attention for individual members.
StayC is fifth.
Don't really know what to say about Lesserafim. The Garam thing overshadowed their music, in my opinion.
Once upon a time, Weeekly would have been in consideration for lower in the top 5, but that concept change didn't do them any favours.
