They're the only gg that doesn't rely on gimmicks but pure talent and music.

People are beginning to get tired of Aespa. Savage couldn't the replicate the success of Next Level. They're being constantly called out for lipsyncing and weak stage presence. The Kwangya gimmick is getting old too.

IVE relies on Wonyoung let's admit that. And their music is nothing that can't be replicated by a more talented gg. They wouldn't be this successful if Eleven wasn't released to an empty house. They have gotten called out for lipsyncing a lot too.

Gidle have multiple popular members. Their music can be done only by Soyeon. Their performances are pretty good live. Even though the other two will continue to be successful just like Itzy did, I think gidle may come out on top in spite of not being a big company group or having a produce group member. What do you think?

Also, you forget their biggest problem, Cube. Arguably the worst of the upper-mid tier companies when it comes to looking after their groups.

They've already lost Soojin. Soyeon will eventually go solo, she's too ambitious to stay in a group forever. Yuqi will eventually end up in China coz there is just too much money to be made there. Miyeon will go into acting, with a face like hers it is guaranteed. Shuhua already looks tired of idol life. Minnie, who knows. She'll be a superstar if she goes home.

honestly no, they have 3 years left of contract, none of them are staying if they are loyal to Soojin and see how shitty cube is, outside of Gidle, Soyeon and Miyeon have their careers ready as soloist and actress in SK, Yuqi in China, Minnie in Thailand. Shuhua is going to be left behind and probably will focus on Taiwan. Out of all 4th gen ggs they are basically the ones that can survive without the group so the group is the one in danger rn

Not saying that they're not doing well, but imo they're not 4th gen. They don't feel like it at all, and that's probably why they're successful.

That was damn prescient of Form of Therapy to predict that. He was right on the money.

The group is the hottest thing in Kpop right now, they are everywhere in Korean media. Tomboy actually eclipsed Love Dive and took back #2, only behind Psy. Already 11 weeks or so in the top 2 or 3 of Melon. And their B side My Bag is the best charting B side of any 4th gen group.

I think lot of people in this thread misunderstand what secure future means. It has nothing to do with topping the charts or whatever.
