I voted for the black though because I’m boring.
its so weird you dont win akorns when your submitted badge wins though. I mean, we help the forum and everything, so a small prize of 10 akorns per badge would be awesome.

That can easily get messy I'd imagine. I don't think any wants people to vote for badges just get a friends to win so they can get akorns. It should be about voting for what you like best and of course, fans and people who will buy the badges need their voices.
I get what you mean though. Maybe at some point there can be some kind of alternative award or some kind of recognition. I do think users like you who help out on these events deserve all the appreciation. :)

Interesting idea. I view the badges as something for us so it never occurred to me to get acorns for winning badges. I doubt the stuff would like the idea.

That happens a lot with aesthetic contests and few other forum wide contests so yeah I wouldn't want to risk it personally lol.
Though 10 akorns isn't a lot compared to the awards from those kinds of events, but with multiple badge categories, that adds up.
Like if something like this was implemented back when Golden Child's event happened, if someone won all categories, they would've gotten 120 akorns.
It's a fun idea but yeah you can see why I have apprehensions lol.

I first innocently thought maybe more ppl would suggest badges, even for groups they dont like, so we would have a wider choice at the end. I think when the rules are strict (like not suggesting regular pics, but only resized badges) this might not happen.

Yeah, we aren't budging on the rules.
Though, even before the rules were implemented, I do think it's still kind of the same where users prefer to vote on badges rather than make or suggest photos.
Pika told me back when Itzy was getting their badges (before any rules were made), she alerted Midzy in advance to prepare photos before the event happened and it seems most kind of took the point that they would rather wait to vote.
So idk I feel like even now it's still kind of same and probably will be the same regardless of rules.
Which is... it'd be great if more people suggested photos or made badges, but if they rather not dabble in that process, you can't force it.

before the rule change, the number of submissions was unlimited. we had a situation where one person posted 90% of existing photoshoots
they only left dark photoshoots that needed lots of editing lol. i thought that after the rule change people might get more confident in submitting their options, maybe they thought why bother when someone was faster than me and posted my fave pics. but it didn't happen. people just don't care about submission round, read dummi's post above, she said she's here only for voting.as for you, you can always ask for other people's slots :) i'm sure you have more suggestions and they couldn't care less about submissions lol
