Korean Produce trainees were trainees of music agencies. They for sure received some training.
These Japanese girls mostly are commoners without any proper training.
The so-called trainers are not actually trainers. They do more of "directing" than training. So, those untrained trainees keep being untrained.
The voice in this show is very raw, no heavy edit.

Wild take.
What did the Tokyo subway sarin attack in 1995 arise out of? I'm curious.
Also, did Anders Breivik's attack in 2011 Norway arise out of something? If so, does it mean it's justified?
Ain't gonna bothered with Breivik but, sarin attack was not "terrorism" as terrorist is meant to have some kind of political agenda, the fall of a nation, independent new country etc., not simply human sacrifice.
And, it did not pop up out of nowhere and reflected societal "sickness" of the nation. Japan had some internal tension which exploded in such form.
what ever you say Terrorist apologist.
Genocide apologist. Eew.

What are factors to set ticket price?
Artist fee, hospitality fee (for both artist and artist's staff), production fee, staff/usher team, copyright fee and others.
How to calculate the price?
First, we have to count all costs. How many seats, how many tickets we can issue per each zone of the venue. Then, we run P&L (profit and loss) analysis and set the ticket price, what the price of each zone is, what is the percent of sold ticket to break-even.
Usually, we set the price so we can to break even at 60 - 70% of sold tickets. There is always the high risk of not selling out. Some concerts come with very high cost, we may not even break even at 80%. Yet, we dare to go head on if the artist is so popular that we predict sold out. They are times we give up due to the very high cost.
Why may the ticket prices of 2 concerts of similarly popular artists by 2 different promoters be vastly different?
Despite the similar levels of popularity, the fees of the artists can be widely different. Also, they are production, hospitality costs and such.
Why has the ticket price for Korean artists exceeded that of western ones?
Several Korean artists charge higher artist fees than western ones. Besides, the number of artist's staffers, the demand for hospitality and production may be higher.
From promoter's point of view, where is the satiable ticket price for both promoter and buyer these days?
The satiable price for the promoter and the buyer may be different. You cannot compare the price with the past. The artist fee of Korean artists rises every years. The more popular they get, the pricier they are. Sometimes, they are multiple promoters bidding for the same artist and the fee rises. For Thailand, many artists charge higher than most parts of Asia.
I don't know where is the satiable point for both promoter and buyer. But, for promoter, the price must base on the combined cost and the risk of unsold tickets. For this year (2023), I think the appropriate price is 2,000 - 8,000 bahts.
There are criticisms on celebrities' backstage access.
Mostly, those persons are invited by the artist or the artist's label. In the case of promoter's request, it always must be approved by the label first. We can't just let anyone access to backstage. Sometimes, those persons link to the sponsor of the concert.
Have they been times you take the blame for the artist?
To work with Korean artist, we must sign the deal that we will never put the artist or the label in a bad light or we face a hefty fine. We also have to keep the connection for future works. So, no promoter dares to speak out. They are multiple times where the mistake is the fault of the artist or the label. They are times the artist or the label ignore our warning. And, we must take the heat. Mostly, it is the benefit issue. The label has agreed with us to provide some benefits to VIP buyers but cancel that last minute. We cannot defend ourselves nor demand for compensation.
Is it more difficult to work with foreign artists?
The management of Korean artist is very strict and systematic. Thai artists are more compromising. The Korean also is demanding that we must service them as soon as they set feet on Thai soil. The hospitality fee is hugely different. Also, we may discuss with Thai artist for more benefit when the sell is not going well. For Korean artist, there is no negotiation after the contract is signed.
Sometimes, the artist skips Thailand in Asian tour. Why?
They can be different reasons. The artist fee may be too high, as I've mentioned that the artist charges multiple times higher for Thailand. Sometimes, it's schedule conflict. Some artists just do not want to visit Thailand.

After first listened to Baddie, I felt so familiar, as if I had heard a similar song before. I finally realize what song Baddie resembles

Thailand's top supermarket chain, Lotus', has launched a campaign where 250 persons spending most money at any shop within Lotus' will attend Park Seojun fan meeting event.
A woman named Khemjira reportedly led the board with 50m THB (roughly 1.36m USD).
Khemjira, who was an online merchant, gave an interview that she did not really spend that much. She bought and sold gold bars at a goldsmith's inside Lotus' daily.
Her record was broken today with another woman named Jinattha topping her at 78m (roughly 2.12m USD). I guess she used similar tactic.
The spending will be concluded tomorrow.

Avex’s CEO Katsumi Kuroiwa on the Challenges of Creating Global Hits: InterviewBillboard Japan interviewed Kuroiwa in recognition of his selection for the 2023 International Power Players list.www.billboard.comQuote
You were selected for the 2023 Billboard International Power Players list in recognition of the success of XG’s debut and their appearance in the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay charts, the first time ever for Japanese female artists. Could you start out by discussing some of the challenges you faced with XG’s debut?Kuroiwa: We launched XGALX, a global artist project behind artists like XG, six years ago, in 2017. This was when the world’s attention was first turning to K-pop. Of course, K-pop already had its fans at the time, but this was about when it started to establish an overwhelming presence due to BTS. Avex has a long history of producing K-pop artists such as BoA, TVXQ, and BIGBANG. We formed a partnership with S.M.entertainment in 2001, and we created a label with YG Entertainment. The strong impression I got through our activities with them was that they were keeping a close eye on the Japanese and global markets. Leveraging this experience, we launched the XGALX project with the aim of creating global hits. Initially, we were aiming for a 2020 debut, but the COVID pandemic but a halt to any major moves, so the debut ended up being in 2022. We built up even more knowledge in the intervening time, so in the end it turned out for the best.
XG is based in Korea, but all of the members are Japanese. How does it differ from K-pop?
Kuroiwa: We have a great respect for K-pop, but what really sets XG apart is their originality and freshness. We built the group together with our partners around the world, taking the best elements from Korea, Japan, and the US. The potential of the members, the music production, the video, and the fashion all came together, overlapping and giving birth to XG. We didn’t want to make them a J-pop or K-pop group, but instead create an all-new genre, X-Pop.
The members of the group had a lot of different ideas about what language the lyrics should be in. Some said that since the members are Japanese, they should sing in Japanese, but ultimately they came to the conclusion that since they’d be targeting the global market, including the Korean market, English would be best. None of the members are native speakers, so we really focused on pronunciation from the very start of their artist development.
If DA ain't gonna be promoted on Korean shows, where will it be? America's Got Talent or Good Morning America, campus showcase tour, radio play and magazine interviews?

They did not have to since they could comfortably work in Thailand.

Search up XG.
And the Korean fanmeet flopped. Why? Because HYBE has not been advertising there.
HYBE, one of the biggest companies in Korea, couldn't get 100 people to show up to an event? No one believes that. They didn't show up because no one knew about it or were interested, and why is that? Because HYBE is not putting importance or focus on them in Korea. Like, duh.
So, because something is flop, it did not happen? HYBE did not want Boynextdoor to be popular? YG did not want Treasure to be a top boy group?
Definitely a logical genius!

Popular pre-release show = high anticipation toward the release + sizable chunk of pre-release fans. And, these do not matter? At all?
For many people that's all that matters...
No surprise that their govt is acting the way it is.
I think this completely cements the fact that this group is in no way marketed for Korea. It was also revealed recently that one of the girls is openly queer, so people thinking this group is somehow KPOP with Westerners can drop it lol. Korea is not checking for Dream Academy.
So that begs the question, why did they even have a fanmeet in Korea!?
Should have had it in LA!? I would have tried to go. Like, HYBE, you have some real stars, please don't fumble the bag!? Ya'll already fumbled Adela.
Yes. They definitely gave no crap to Korean market thus, there were Korean contestants, fanmeet in Korea (and not LA) and the training in Korea to perform songs of Korean group with a surprise visit of the said group.
A+ level of logic thinking.

Maybe you can find people with similar faces all over the world, but with different qualities.
And, you believe a man so elite yet so nice to her + her family can be found at any street corner? Really?
Thai girls of 165+ of height are not rare at all. You did not know what you talked about.
Lmao delusional.
A random foreigner believing he knows Thai beauty standard better than a Thai citizen.
For your information, Thai beauty standard largely align with Chinese one. Natty and Minnie are prettier than her.

A2K being the most successful Global Girl group audition show was a surprise. But there ya go

for groups like kep1er and izone are all of their songs premade? like do they have them all created before the group even debuts? because each groups songs all had a very similar sound and concept. this worked for izone but not for kep1er and youd think that theyd start putting out a different style of song at this point
In the case of IZ*One, Han Seongsoo (Pledis' boss) was their executive producer/creative director for 3 releases (La Vie en Rose > Violeta > Fiesta).

WHO?
Her step father is white (very), and she loves him. Girls tend to look for someone similar to daddy.
And she always said she would like someone that treats her fine, older (meaning, not childish). This dude is flying everywhere she goes, and follows her to each country. That is something only a guy with money can do. He speaks at least 4 languages, plays the piano like a pro, seams to be nice to her, has a good education, conections, won`t be freeloader (yes she is rich too). What is better? Those guys that end up with the Kardashians? hoho nope.
It looks like he truly likes her, i don`t know about love. But i hope for her to find someone who treats her well and she can built a stable relationship, wich is not easy for an average person.
He introduced her to his family and went all his way to see her family in Thailand. That's respect. She's K-pop superstar yet, he's top of the top elite. He is on a league above her yet, he treats her as equal human. This does not seem like the behavior of an entitled snobbish elite. His whole family even support this relationship. There will be no in-law drama.
He is no charming prince yet, she is just average-looking SEA girl. (Realistically, similar faces won't be difficult to find in Thailand, Myanmar or Cambodia.)
