Wonder if it will be a situation like BP, where the sales grew by almost a million more from the pre-order amount a year after, or like Twice where it took them ages to actually hit their preorder number on circle, and then has stayed stagnant since.

Considering JYP gave us the worst 3rd gen female vocalists, this is surprising indeed. Nmixx's vocal quality is mostly great.

The budget for this must be super high considering the cast.

When I saw this thread title my first thought was about Twice's Jeongyeon. Guess it wasn't just me.

Voted Nmix since they are still new enough they could catch on. Itzy I would say has a small chance since they randomly have songs that do well inbetween their flops. Twice has had like 10 flops in a row at this point without anything really sticking, so that would be the most surprising one.

Considering how hard their songs flop, if Twice's physicals start to drop too, JYP is really gonna just move on.

I could see IU doing around 700k ULs.

I hope if he dates anyone it's someone famous or rich that has security. A small number of the most rabid BTS fangirls would probably be a safety concern for whomever he dates.

Twice have longevity in the sense they keep making music, but lack it in the sense that so few people still care about their music and haven't since 2019(in their home country at least). Less than four years of interest in their music is kind of short.

I would say Twice's downfall into complete has-been status outside of their fanbase, while not surprising, is the most severe downfall.

Twices into discography is a high note. A random off the street could sing ditto.

If you lower the key of Twice's songs, they are very easy to sing. The range, despite having 9 members, tends to be barely an octave. There isn't much for stylistically difficult things either like runs etc.

I wouldn't say Newjeans songs are that much easier.

Yeah the extended play initial first week being the qualifier since overall it's nothing spectacular since several artists already did 500k without such qualifiers. I guess once fall for a lot of those though considering the Twice chart accounts with records like "Highest charting 3rd Gen girl group mini albums released in 2023"

Taste is subjective and it's too hard to choose. I'll just vote for Jisoo since she was the most successful overall.

With some exceptions from Stray Kids, anything JYP has released since like 2019 onward.
