Fromis_9 is a flop group because they were transfered over from a flop company and they got nothing going on concept and music wise, plus their own company Pledis that adopted them, can careless to promote them.
All the other HYBE girl groups (NewJeans Le sserafim) DEBUTED directly from HYBE and got the promotion and everything put into them.
And that's exactly what I'll-It is gonna have. They gonna have push and marketing.
They are gonna be far from flop.
Far as in "striking gold twice", you right, they won't be as successful as NewJeans- but I could see them definitely passing Le sserafim if they go with this "Ditto" concept for real and they have good R&B or/and Pop music???? Easily up there with NJ

for Kepler is was more or less clear, their show wasn't popular and the "wrong" girl was chosen as center. Their music was a mess from the start. I don't think many are surprised they didn't do well.
As for nmixx, they are a million seller
i didn't know from the start because i didn't know anything about them. O.o told me everything tho lol. And then next tt. it's hard to recover from it. I checked their latest tt but i don't bother with them.As for babymonster, it didn't surprise me, yge only knows how to do one style. But people hoped it would be something different now. It wasn't and no wonder they flopped.
As for newjeans and le sserafim, it's the same as nmixx. i didn't know anything about them, i didn't even know who chaewon and Sakura was. I heard Sakura's name and that's it.
The point I'm trying to make is that the only important thing is music. If you care about mass appeal, that is. if you don't care, than fandom is enough for you.
But back to I'LL IT. They are from the biggest company right now, they come from survival show, they'll get good promo, they get access to good producers. At worst they'll be mid but they will never flop. Hybe doesn't make experimental music

Maybe... But I wouldn't bet on it. I was right about Nmixx and Kep1er flopping before they even debuted, and predicted correctly NewJeans doing better than Le Sserafim before both debuted too. I also predicted Babymonster end up being Treasure 2.0. If I end up wrong about my prediction this time, then it will be a first for me instead of Hybe.

Look at Le sserafim and all they had to go through when they debuted.......okay and look at them now.
In the Top 4 of the most popular girl groups in Korea right now.
So people will at FIRST, give them crap and say they hate the name and blahblahblah.
But by the girls 2nd comeback, people gonna be stanning them and loving them a lot, just like with Le sserafim.
And I think I'll-It can really pull off this "Ditto" concept
