No I get it from the first listen, more than Unforgiven to be honest (Maybe I was so mad that sakura didn't have lines on that song so I hated it for awhile lmaooo)
I actually like Unforgiven from first listen lol but Eve will outlast it I think
I don't really pay attention to line distributions, but in Eve all members really shine in performance. Sakura really slayed that boom boom with her girlish aura

This happened with Impurities, and even a couple of the New Jeans songs. I couldnt stop watching the choreo/live vids. Impurities has risen to become my fave LSRFM song although Fearnot is also in the running right now.
It wont happen with Bluebeard though
, it's a bad song, the worst on the album and the only flop.It happened with OMG for me too, also aespa Next Level. Impurities have always been a BOP
I also think bluebeard is a meh song, not bad, but the performance is quickly making it a fave for me lol.

But the performance???? It literally ELEVATED the whole song. Its so addicting now?

I'm interested to see what K-netz have to say after watching this. Though nothing Jennie is doing in that video beats what Hwasa has been doing the last few weeks, so Hwasa warmed them up for her haha.

New Jeans chill songs are bops and they will be able to chart well for sure. Personally I still play Ditto to this day.
However I am basing my prediction on the korean trend of not favoring chill songs during summer.
If they really come with something like that and do compete for no.1, then they prove to be extraordinary and one for the books!

They timed Ditto for that season because it suits the winter, and it did really well.
Its a "calm" song so I think it will not be as played as the more hyper songs like Spicy, Unforgiven and I AM.
However if they wanted to join the Summer madness with something like Hype Boy or Attention I am sure they will compete for 1.

People tend to overlook them because their songs and concept are not very memorable
They do have good albums, and with amazing songs they are stable on charts.
They remind me of OMG kinda, they have lowkey hits at first but a slow and steady rise.

One thing for sure is that their records will be hard to break for the 4th gen. So that says something.
Their next comeback is a pitchfork for them, either they continue to be successful globally or nugudom again.
The way I see it, if their company is smart, they can sustain a NJ level globally, they captured their niche, they found a sound surely ALOT like, so really smart strategic moves and they will stay on the map. Dumb moves will move them back to Stay C/Weeekly level globally, their niche is there but not enough.
