When Hybe bought the 51% share previously owned by CJ its smounting to roughly 113M dollars btw so their current valuation at that time is over 200 M dollars with only ENHYPEN as their grp. They may flop in KR but their future and longevity globally are at least assured by fd alone 😂

I'm really impressed by how much free labor and representation Hybe has secured in this thread. They don't even have to have these people on their payroll and they're going to bat so hard for them.
But she is not copying them, she is getting inspiration from them it's differentes. She did her research, she leveled up products and aesthetics, she made something different out of it, something unique. that how most art/fashion world works. She has a degree is art/marketing if i remmeber well.
And anybody can see that this products have overall nothing to do with each other or even less compete with each other. What Bang/Belift did was close to parasitism and copying. It's completely diffent.
NJs doesn’t feel or sounds like any other groups specially at the time they debuted and even now.

Reference and copy is not the same. To reference you need to make something new out of it. Nobody just 'creates' everything frop a to z. That's how the fashion industry works too.
Overall NJ as a project stands unique in kpop. Noone sounds or feels like them specially when they debuted. But often you need true passion and a real vision to properly reference and not just copycate.
Like you can see some similarities and inspirations there and there but Ador definitly took this inspies to the next level and anyway is there anyone like NJs in the industry, specially when they debuted before they started this trend? Nope. Not in kpop.
And all other people riding the trend are straight up copycaying nj, just even for the mediaplay and bad buzz value (aka riize, illit).

If the parents were actually the onewho initiated the process to complain to Hybe about illit, then that hurts the validity of MHJ's own argument about Hybe's plagirism. She has worked on the IP afterall, but the parents haven't. This makes unclear who held the original complaints.
Though I understand the parents want the best for their children and think MHJ is the one that can take care of them. It's not for nothing that MHJ mentioned on public television that the parents of the foreign members see her as the Korean mom of their children. They might be prepared to go just as far for MHJ as MHJ is prepared to go for NewJeans.

All Hybe would have to realistically do is "suggest" that any future BTS content won't be put on Melon, distributed to stores, appear on shows etc if those companies... do something Hybe doesn't like *wink wink nudge nudge* and those companies will have to make a very clear choice about which path is the safest.
the thing is most fans dont really work that way. bts have many fans but many are there to simply enjoy them while it lasts . thats whythe call for boycott never works. u just saw a few thousands complaining online madly but irl majority dont care. and in sk, even bts songs are no longer charting that high and long except for jungkook songs bec gp likes it. so fd power is more on album sales, concerts, digital sales globally ( but u need gp to make it longer) , merchs sales etc and hyping or creating buzz for their endorsements.

exactly thats whyhybe will never let it go easily. it can be a precedent of future issues. while its not nj fault but they have to be smarter and distance themselves with mhj. so far people view them as victims but the moment they show sympathy to mhj, they will receive a lot of backlash. many will think they are also being ungrateful after enjoying the privileges as a hybe grp and being paid a lot. u can say a lot of things against hybe for being a capitalist etc but they really pay their artists well better than big 3 even their employees are well paid .including more women getting high pay compared to big 3. mhj is even a classic example of getting so much " creative freedom " but she backstabbed hybe😂
