First, Belift said that they didn't use NJZ as a base for their concept design with ILLIT, then they recanted and said that "of course every group was somewhat inspired by a group like NJZ" (gaslighting), then they said they never took any planning documents for NewJeans, then once the whistleblower gave a timeline for all their shady activities, they said "we already finished planning out ILLIT's concept by the time we took the planning document". And that's not even accounting for their getting caught lying about the time frame for when they had decided on ILLIT's concept.

I don't really care what random fans on X are saying, because it doesn't absolve BeThief of their culpability in this; those are two separate matters. Treat them as such.

Lol. Even if its like you say. a company steal from another company who are under the same company. How is that even an issue? Why does it bother you so much? Be happy if they like njzs concept so much that they make a cover band.

I dont care about Belift actions. Belift is not here in this thread going at people for their age. acting not better as your comrades on x. if its two separate matters like you say than you can stop going at people because they like a group from that company.

But Kpop companies say and copy all kind of stuff. When njz debuted they said its the sisters of bts. bunnies didnt complain about that.

YG disbanded 2ne1 to debut bp as 2ne1 but prettier.

Thats no excuse to hate on the idols. Like if they have a choice anyway. they just get told "do this or that concept". Its terrible to see how hybe fandoms act on reddit. but njz fandom on twitter wasnt better.

I thought none of the groups are active anymore. So its unlikely they come back. If they are still active, they will at least perform their old songs in Festivals etc.

Some people probably have changed their mind too. I guess the court ruling in favour of this manager against mhj and the 3 rulings in favour of ador with the bully may also play a part.

The industry cant force the people. they only make offers. its the people who choose. kim soohyun and seungri still have their fanclubs. many people are simply there for entertainment and not for morals.

Success does not mean the products are made out of sincerity. Fan happiness does not equate to Idols being happy. Those two things can be heavily attributed to marketing.

All the points you're bringing up are relating to product, numbers, customer satisfaction. Idols are humans. And they are being thrown around like objects in HYBE's factory.

I totally agree. But did Aespa or Ive not suffer hate? Would other companies act differently in the same position? As much as i dislike Hybe. Without proof that other companies s would act differently, or idols in other companies getin treated differently, i cant accuse them of being worse than the other.

I dont like how the mainstream runs. thats why i dont spend my money on those big companies. but those who criticise those companies are also the fans of their groups, the same people who make these companies as powerful as they are.

The problem is HYBE. If they spaced these debuts out a 3-4 years apart, then I do not see a problem with ILLIT. However, they decided to debut Illit after NJZ and had similarities. Coincidences this big is rare in big business.

I absolutely despise HYBE for this reason: pumping out groups like they're a factory product with no sincerity and love for the craft. All the girlies have insane potential but stinky HYBE sees them as a factory product.

There where also accusations against LSFM because it was planed to debut NJZ first but than Sakura and Chaewon, who are already known idols, where signed and plans changed.

But if you look at the numbers, sales and all the fans who are happy with how outstanding their artists are. than hybe is absolutly right with pumping out groups like they are a factory. And all those fanwars between the groups have not stoped a single hybe group from being highly successfull.

Also i would not call LSFM, NJZ or Illit products without love for the craft.

There is no reason for Hybe to not do what they do untill Bang Si Hyuk will wake up some morning and think that he doesnt want to make Irari angry anymore.

My stance has always been that debut Illit was NOT plagiarism, and much of MHJ's plagiarism claims were bogus and ego-driven. HOWEVER, the act of debuting Illit and the way they moved was clearly a message from Hybe/BSH that he wanted to clip MHJ's reach and achievements. its crazy to see how the opinions from both sides couldnt be more far away from each other. One side say other groups like Illit or Leserafim are direct attempt to sabotaging New Jeans. The other side say its entitlement to think you have the right to be the only group in the company.

One side say they are revolutionaries who fight for their freedom and against harrasment. The other side say they are spoiled children who throw a trantrum.

I wasnt there when stuff happend so i have no clue who is right or wrong so i hope the court can come to a conclusion soon.
