    Haha, tbh I was never that deep into CLC’s fandom that I ever fanwarred with (G)I-DLE stans, since I got into them pretty late (NO era), but I understand the same sentiment, since I often love to reminisce about the days I used to participate greatly in the legendary fanwar with SONEs (SNSD stans) back in the glory golden days of 2nd gen as a major Blackjack (2NE1 stan). Then eventually, I fanwarred with them so often, I grew an appreciation and respect for SNSD, and then became one! (A SONE 🩷)


    Now I’ve been a SONE for so long, and 2NE1 were on hiatus and then disbanded for so long, that I’m become an even bigger SONE than I am a Blackjack! Tho I’m starting to remember what it’s like again and re-settle into my OG Kpop bias group stan roots with 2NE1’s comeback as a group for their 15th Anniversary Welcome Back Tour! Which is like the greatest thing that has happened in Kpop in *years* IMO, haha! Hopefully I can remember what it’s like to be a bigger Blackjack again, since objectively speaking I can see why I thought they were better, at least women-empowerment wise anyway!


    Hope you enjoy your memories fanwarring with Cheshires, and now enjoy your new time fanwarring with ARMY(?) as a new NewJeans stan, or so I hear you’ve become~ ^^ Hope our paths won’t cross again in the future on the opposite sides of the battlefield! I am a casual NewJeans fan now, ironically, after the HYBE vs ADOR scandal made me realize how huge of a sensation they are/were, so I probably won’t really engage unless y’all say something REALLY shady about BTS or something…which is entirely possible I guess, but you never know, a miracle could happen and y’all could stop mentioning them and bringing them and ARMY into your grievances against HYBE every now and then~ :-P;-):*^^

    I emphatically agree with you that a true solo without any Western star collaborations will definitely be the true test for Rosé, but we can't discount her role from APT entirely! Don't forget that BLACKPINK's/Rosé's/KPOP's name and power also helped propel Bruno Mars to heights he had never reached before too! He broke his record for most streams for a Spotify debut globally, and his last record he had for that was for a song with Lady Gaga!


    KPOP is still really on fire I guess; tbh, a tiny bit of my concerns of KPOP's future have been assuaged by the successes of Rosé's solo collab w/Bruno Mars, that it is still reaching new heights of global impact, and we can't let him take ALLL~ the credit for the success of APT!


    Even if it may be a fact that she is a BLACKPINK member and not necessarily Rosé's specific star power herself that is probably propelling this solo to fame.


    That being said, Bruno Mars probably chose Rosé to collaborate with over any other BLACKPINK member due to her fame for her superior musical talent especially vocally compared to other BLACKPINK members who may be more internationally famous like Lisa or Jennie.


    And I don't think it's a coincidence that the song that broke both Bruno's/ Rosé's/and all Kpop female soloists' previous records is higher quality and much catchier than the other BP's members recent solos since splitting off from YG's main record label for their solo activities.


    To me that's possibly partly because of Rosé who both came up with the creative idea for and helped write the song (she and Bruno Mars are listed as the top 2 writers, which can be manipulated, but even having a semblance of an idea of Bruno Mars's and Rosé's songwriting talents, I bet it's actually true that they were both actually very involved). I don't think APT is a creation that another BLACKPINK member could've written or even chosen to do as a song, without Rose's unique penchant for musicality.


    Don't discount Rosé's contribution to APT's success entirely! 😡

    I can’t match all the members’ names to faces just yet, but I think the girl standing in the middle in the cover of 2NE1’s Fire sounds the best!


    From the members I do know their names, I think Rami, Pharita & Ahyeon are the best.

    But if we’re just talking about how their voice sounds and not skill level or anything, I like how Chiquita’s voice sounds the best, personally! It’s so cool & unique-sounding, like a 2NE1 or BP member!


    She reminds me of a 5th-generation Lisa or CL - with less vocal talent & songwriting ability than CL tho ofc, but same typa vibe & charisma, rapping style, and even appearance - especially as Lisa! :snsd13:


    Just a lot younger and maybe watered down a little, lol 8o

    You're right, I remember both B.A.P & GOT7's image suddenly taking a turn towards dark during One Shot & If You Do and being really shocked and also really loving it for GOT7! That was when I kinda became an Ahgase. Those dark sexy black leather pants concepts were always really popular in Kpop tho, from at least TVXQ's time at the beginning of 2nd gen and after 😛 (Don't know much about 1st Gen tbh, but could've even been popular then and started by someone before them, I just dk)


    But definitely the first time I saw them do it, tho B.A.P was always very masculine from the getgo and I guess some of the members like Moon Jongup have slowly become more "flowerboy" over time sometime until their latest release "Gone" was a ballad and nothing like any of their previous concepts or TTs thus far 😂 :

    GOT7 also debuted with more of a hip hop image but definitely became a lot more boyish and refreshing/cute during some concepts, especially during Just Right era! Such a shock when they followed it up w/IYD and gave me #WHIPLASH~ 😂


    What an amazing performance on both GOT7 and BTS's parts, you can even see JYP getting really into it at 4:23 and bopping his head intently, like he's really feeling himself and GOT7~ ^^ Those were really the days when groups still put their all into performances and you could really hear their vocal talent even while doing difficult dancing on music shows and not just during radio shows & Killing Voice and the like. 8o


    I love the "Video Game Start" virtual thing they have going on here~ 👏👏👏 Kinda before their time, like K/DA and Aespa and virtual AI idols and shit? 😂
