As expected, Babymonster is topping most international debut numbers. Korea wise they are rising but have been radio silent in terms of promotions so no hopes up for that
They have the biggest full charting day debut? I was scammed by this thread into thinking that their spotify numbers are not good enough that they need playlisting 
They have not shown their face in any promotional stuff since the mv dropped, not even a vlive or a debut stage.
I honestly find this quite funny in terms of YG side.
Their fate will rely heavily on Babymonster, but we are still unclear how big they can become.
To be honest with you is more of big 3 losing their power in Korea because JYP is also losing their grip there. Whilst they still do well in sales and internationally their song performance is also not up to scratch. Did JYP even have a single hit song in korea this year? At least for YG there is still flower and love lee. SM is also not doing as well as they used to and they havent been for a while.
Hybe, Starship(IVE), Cube (g-idle) seem to be doing better than big 3 nowadays and if this continues it will be damaging to their reputation as big 3 overtime in korea. Of course internationally nothing will change but this 'big 3 companies' thing is something that is invented in korea to for koreans to recognize that they distinguish themselves from the rest of the companies.
Watching their last evaluation, seems like Ruka struggles with diction and pronounciation at times when singing live, but both are solid rappers and their rap part in the song was one of the best i've heard in a kpop song in a while
I realized nmixx was a 6pm kst release, so in theory nmixx performed worst lol but this is not much better
This show wouldve had so much more hype had it been distributed properly such that everyone can watch it. Especially with how global the contestants are. Felt like a big missed opportunity there

The timing of their debut is just so weird even at 0am KST and also no promotional stuff the day after release is abit funny as well. Classic YG

It just has a YG song structure esp with the outro, the song vibe and minimal instrumental/tone changes between verse and chorus is nothing like a blackpink song.
Blackpink songs have choruses that sound so distinctly from the rest of the song (except Shut Down) which is more jarring/interesting whichever way you look at it, their songs is more of an up and down journey rather a stable ride like Babymonster.
I can see people that will prefer Babymonster's song and vice versa with Blackpink.
3rd gen's peak was 2018 so it makes sense that the song's here are not as iconic as 2022 which is so far 4th gen's peak

One thing I realized about people in forums is that YG and hip hop music is extremely hated. Its almost like they associate those with noise music immediately
And any song with YG formula in terms of structure is always disliked more. Always found that to be extremely weird
Tbf it reminds me more of treasure because it is softer/youthful and less of blackpink because the instrumental switch ups are way less extreme/jarring than Blackpink songs. None of blackpink songs have any kind of youthful energy like this except for AIIYL. This is just my opinion.
But yes definitely you can tell its a YG song
