When they say Batter Up sounds like a BP song

It just has a YG song structure esp with the outro, the song vibe and minimal instrumental/tone changes between verse and chorus is nothing like a blackpink song.

Blackpink songs have choruses that sound so distinctly from the rest of the song (except Shut Down) which is more jarring/interesting whichever way you look at it, their songs is more of an up and down journey rather a stable ride like Babymonster.

I can see people that will prefer Babymonster's song and vice versa with Blackpink.

To non fans, it does sound like a song you’d expect from blackpink but worse

I'm still hopeful they are gonna release better music this doesn't fell like a debut song to me
