Tzuyu is extremely popular considered JYPE fucked up everytime but go off sis.

Not agreeing with sorc but without taeyeon snsd vocally are still better, for reference Jihyo is about as strong as Sunny but no where near Seohyun Tiffany and Jessica but I don't think twice are bad vocally they're better than bp and itzy and gfriend (Yuju out classes everyone but literally just Yuju. The other girls are worst than Nayeon)

I seen midzy once army blinks neverlands talking about the sales too why only aespa fans being called out? Besides we literally have nothing to worry about we know aespa has no real competition in terms of physicals so far so like?

Ning Ning. Lily is literally closer to Winter and haewon than Ning Ning go to any vocal thread on youtube reddit that other kpop forum you'll get same answer. Just because aespa do not sing live much suddenly negates their vocal abilities this is utterly ridiculous people are even comparing the two. Monday is a better comparison.

A couple of bad songs and Aespa's debut put an end to ITZYs short glory days. Not that I think Aespa will be any huge success in the future, but feels like they took the place ITZY had.
Overall when it comes to the girl groups that have debuted the last couple of years ( I don't want to call them "4th genaration", because it's more like 3.5 or pointless to use the term generations anymore), I feel like it's hard to them to have more than one good song. Some groups can debut with a song I like, or their second song is good, but after that it's like two-three boring songs in a row. No groups that have like three good songs in a row from debut and forward. It's more like for each good song you get two-three boring songs. That make is hard to find any new favorite groups.
How can you say aespa aren't a huge success when they have Daesengs in their rookie year.. multiple they literally owned 2021 for girlgroups I don't get how after all that people will still question or ignore aespa ARE a successful group.

4th gen hits are a lot of the same.
only the nugu ones are still experimental or have a differing tone from the rest.
Next Level sounds nothing like any other 4th gen song..

I'm the same kinda over kpop at least until aespa comeback. red velvet last comeback bore me I didn't like a single song on album was expecting a dark pop song but meh glad they're selling so well now.

I dont think Next level is considered 'noisy'. Its instrument is clean, and it is very similar to what GGs have been putting out there. Savage is noisy though and you can clearly sense Koreans dont like it as much. They can accept something like BP and NL/DCT
In contrast, I think ITZY's music are noisier. And it also explains why theyre flopping on K charts cause koreans dont like these kind of music
But Savage charting is still very well and Savage is way noisier than Loco , MITM which was noisier than Loco charted better. Koreans not checking for Itzy purely based on JYPE bad marketing/promotion decisions.
Loco is at worst boring it honestly did not pack the same punch as Dalla Dalla or Wannabe.
