Is there a way we can use these emotes easily or do we need to like copy and paste them from this thread
Not that I know of. I had the old thread bookmarked. Some raccoon emotes were already added tho, most of them the ones we had on the old forum.

Special thanks to Ninalabkon and ul1ra for their contributions to the original thread.
Since we don't know if attachments will survive, the raccoon emotes were uploaded to imgur for safety.

Relevant enough I guess, people tag me once in a blue moon.
HopeOnTheStreet taglist please
Not very fond of using the taglist for negative things around but I guess it's not bad for awareness.
@Zazatwin22

Cnetz are more toxic than knetz. Change my mind.
Easy Abs, all your threads should be in the K-Lounge. You can't go wrong there.
Cumulated sales along with singles and digitals. Sales don't equal albums.
Look at this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/…_best-selling_girl_groups. Almost all the sales on that list are not actual albums sold.
SNSD apparently has 34.4 million sales but if I go with the source https://web.archive.org/web/20…eration-psy-gangnam-k-pop then it's over 30m in digital singles and 4.4m albums.
AKB48 has 60m sales, but on oricon it says that 53.4m are singles and 6.6m are albums. https://www.oricon.co.jp/confidence/special/52827/2/#link1

Just realized Spring Day becomes #1 (unless she already was). The Queen is taking her rightful place.
Lmao at Dynamite, 555 points already. Next week he is gonna be #6, wtf, that's in less than 5 months. :D Insanity. Poor BWL probably gonna be surpassed in a few months.
The methodology of this is still bad.
It duplicates stats which are correlated and are reflecting the same underlying features. Important stats like Gallup ranking are missing. It overweights viral hits which die down quickly and downweights longevity too much. And so on. But we already went through this last time.
(I know this is not your methodology, so nothing personal).
I think the problem with Gallup is having a methodology which works over the years and seems consistent. They just changed how they display the results and now we can't see what 40+ voted in terms of most idols songs so it's hard to compare with previous years. There is also the recency bias (songs close to the time the polls are taken are advantaged) and the rivality issues (If a song does not have real rivals, it will take a larger percentage than if they would release the song in a bigger year). But I agree that Gallup is important regarding national hits and it's very good to show us the national hits in a small timeframe. National hits isn't just digitals, they are supposed to reach a broader audience than usual and Gallup polls are the best way to show it. For this year, Gallup polls showed us very clearly which are the national hits.
So yeah I think Gallup should be included as bonuses, and the balance needs to be achieved carefully.
Display MoreI think its incredibly dumb of them to put out the standard now, when the hype had died down and when a portion of armys are feeling quite bitter about the standard version. If they want it to sell better, they should add something extra to create more hype and positive feelings.
And its called "Essential", not "Standard", but who knows what BH means by it.
And there will be Grammys, where they could promote something.
Maybe its just wishful thinking.
Yes but I think there is still plenty people who want at least a standard version. It will sell well.
"Standard" is the name army gave to a non-deluxe version but I feel like Essential is a better name for it.
Grammys are in March. I think they are gonna release a single in March, Dynamite style, something for the west and nicely promoted to have them relevant at that time. But not sure if Grammy would actually let them promote. Album probably in April/May.
I think some mixtapes from the members are gonna make things better inside the fandom and have a lot of positive feelings.
it could be, and then the new hair and stuff would make sense. Let's hope for that, since Dynamite is likely to fall off the BB chart before the album comes out, so it will be useless anyway.
i think we all knew, we just kinda lost hope after 2 months of radio silence lol. They've dropped the ball on this a bit, it wouldn't make sense to just put a standard version so late after the initial one, with no extra content.
It makes sense if they see a lot of army aren't gonna buy an expensive version. They aren't gonna let this money untapped.
But they would've made much more money if they did this in the first place. Now the hype and all of it is gone. BH got greedy and they should think twice next time in terms of albums versions.
Essential edition basically means an edition of the BE album stripped over all the non-essential characteristics from the Deluxe. I don't think it's a repackage, or that we will have new songs, it will be named differently.
BH tried to milk it with the Deluxe and I think their sales are not that good so they have to release a cheaper version. They screwed up anyway, I hope they don't do it again.
Bora said she thinks the standard version will come anyway, I think k-army kinda knew this will come eventually.
For the same reason she got selected by Riot to be part of their releases. Talent. SM and JYP worked decades with talent, they know it when they see one. There is no reason to be impeded with company policies. Also I think small companies are more lenient in terms of collabs with big4. If she was part of a big4 group, I kinda doubt this multi-company collab would be happening tbh.
Rip jp armys, the battles for tickets are gonna be 3x harder.
I predicted after 2 weeks of release that Dynamite is gonna be the biggest song for a kpop group and the biggest song for 3rd gen.
While the push in US and the success there is kinda logic, overperforming ofc but still easy to predict, what's happening in SK and JP is mind-blowing. Everyone told us that SK and JP are not very happy with full-english songs but Dynamite kinda screws that narrative now. I'm still fascinated about what's happening and I fail to understand what makes Dynamite so successful in these markets. Are the catchyness and the replay value of the song so high that it breaks all the normal values?
