I would say Wonyoung, Minju, Sakura, Chaewon and Yuri are the top 5 izone members in Korea.

In China, you know there are those Fanclub bars on Weibo or somewhere? During Swan's comeback, they show how much each Fanclub bought the album.

Based on the number: Sakura, Wonyoung, Yujin, Yena, and Hyewon are the top 5.

Hitomi, Chaeyeon, Nako, Yuri, and Eunbi are the bottom 5.

so in conclusion,

Yuri is popular in Korea and Japan.

Yena is a little bit more popular in China. Her popularity in Japan and Korea is not that bad imo.

Eunbi is average in China, Japan and Korea

Hyewon seems to be a little more popular in China, but definitely is one of the least popular izone members in Korea and Japan.

Sakura, Chaewon, Minju, Yuri, Yena (after finishing her last remaining variety show), Eunbi (after solo promotions are over), Hyewon, and Chaeyeon (after her survival show filming is done). See if Nako and Hitomi are available as recurring guest stars.

Without Wonyoung and Yujin and Nako and Hitomi, this group wont hit 500k anymore. But still enough star power to get 300k at least, which is still huge for a GG.

I only agree with Wonyoung and Yujin here.

Wonyoung is so popular in Korea and China that it definitely will affect the sales alot if she not in the group. Also Yujin is quite popular in China as well so it might affect a bit as well. However, Nako and Hitomi is in the least popular group in izone so I don't think it will affect a lot.

If let says the group consists of Sakura, Minju and Chaewon. They basically have the Japan, Korea and China markets already.

Sakura, Minju and Chaewon all three of them are the top 3 most popular izone member in Japan.

Minju and Chaewon is the top 5 most popular izone members in Korea.

Sakura is very popular in China.

Also, whether or not Hybe can make a subunit depends on how their respective agency react.

However, that doesn't make a difference that those bullies decide to bully other people.

It is a choice made by the bullies to use the hole of the education system to bully people.

I don't like cancel culture, and I never hoped once that idol who gets caught in a bully scandal to leave their respective group.

If Next level is a hit, then follows that a song that has more people listening to it day by day is also a hit, especially when its three months after respective song was released, no matter who released it.

Celebrity has SIX WEEKS at gaon #1, only five songs ever have six or more weeks. I mean this thread and all the twitter posts are using Celebrity as the bar to show of how impressive Next level is when they post about how it spent x more days in x chart, why do that if if celebrity isnt a hit?

Its easily in top 10 among all of IU's songs when looking at the chart data, hows that bad when she has 27 #1 gaon hits? where's the threshold for calling an IU song a hit, does she need to top good day/meaning of you or through the night? Three of the biggest songs released in the last decade for it to be called a hit?

Basically most of IU songs are hits, thats why she gets those high uls, because she has 27 #1 gaon songs. GP will tune in when she comes back because they know theres a high chance they will like it. Does she gets higher initial UL because of it? Yes ofc, but if GP doesnt like it they will not continue to listen to it and it would fall down the chart after a week, majority of her songs doesnt tho.

People like to think IU could release any noise and it would get #1 but that's just not true. I-Land last summer didnt even hit #1 for a week and is one of her worst performing releases ever (also one of the few songs she has released in the last six years that she has no credit except for singing). She has no streaming fandom that will help her either, as evident when looking at the new top 100 chart.

BTS normally can only get 400k - 500k ULS on the first day. Life Goes On has only around 450k and keeps dropping down afterward and for Dynamite, it reaches a new high at 700k when it was only 450k on the first day. Also, for Dynamite it Gaon digital weekly is around 40M and stay there for a couple of weeks. I do not expect BTS to do better than Dynamite to be considered as a hit, but definitely need to do better than Life Goes On.

NL is not what Aespa normally can get, NL is a hit song already and my logic above is saying that you need to do better than what you normally can do to be so-called a hit song so no, Aespa does not need to beat NL digital to consider as a hit. Also, Aespa gaon digitally stays around 30M every week.

I just think that Celebrity ULs dropped too much after the first day and that her Gaon digital isn't that stable like Next Level and Dynamite. Maybe Celebrity and LILAC is still considered a hit, but I do not have the feeling that they are super hit songs like Dynamite, Next Level, Any Song, etc...)
