Once Garam leaves, the group will continue to do well.

I personally think they never should have debuted the group until the Garam issue was taken care of. …but then again, I don’t run a company so I don’t know the implications or what the issues are.
-
ugh that's what happens when you become a big entertainment company? They all go through periods where one "issue" after another continuously comes out.
-
Yeah no doubt the song will chart well. Curious to see what it’ll do in the next week or so.

I can never fathom how anyone thinks sending hate to people who have done absolutely nothing is okay, nor can I imagine receiving all this hate and having to keep a smile on my face no matter what. This was such a great experience for them and gave them a taste of an actual audience and different atmosphere. I was impressed with their stage and excited for their new album. I thought the message of their new song fit perfectly for them and the situation.
While I know it must have been difficult for the girls to write those messages, I’m glad they were able to express how they feel, and hopefully they are seeing the loads of support they’ve been receiving.

No. I actually think they’ll do quite well.

Irene sings far more than see raps so idk why you are including her..

I'm just really really hoping the entire set is live. Lowkey praying someone knocked some sense into SM and is making them sing live or an organizer from Coachella said it has to be live.
Please just give them handheld mics that are on, make the choreo lax, throw in some remixes and have the girls move around on stage then they will do fine. It'll be a disservice and slap in the face to the members if their set isn't live.
I guess since they are performing 4+ songs they'll have to talk with the audience at some point, so we know for sure their mics will be on, but we'll just have to wait and see if they actually sing. Having Black Mamba as a song kinda worries me because if they stick to the choreo they would need their head mics..

Karina’s rumors were not as “severe” and tons of classmates defended her right away quickly putting the rumors to rest..But either way it’s a shitty situation for everyone involved.
-
Either way it’s a sucky situation. If these rumors turn out to be true the groups debut will be delayed, MV, songs, and any other promotional content they’ve been preparing will have to be edited, and it just looks bad on the group and company.
If the rumors are false, then antis will hold this over her head and some people will continue to say it’s true even if it’s proven false. Her reputation in the Korean publics eye is already being tarnished, true or not.

No.
Do I think she’s going to be the most popular? Yes. As of now , she’ll probably be the FOTG, but like any group there will be popular and non popular members.

Lol 4th gen boy groups performance in SK is so awful. Take away album sales and they really haven’t accomplished anything. Where as groups like aespa, ITZY, G-idle, StayC have digitals, recognitions and sales.
It’s interesting because I have actually found a lot of 4th gen boy group songs that are pretty decent but the charting is terrible… in general boy groups have always struggled in digitals but not sure why this new generation is doing the worse? There have been some quality songs releases but idk?

well I see your point but I believe it makes sense for them to have a cb before sehun and kai enlist. They can do both why not. And their solo careers are flourishing true, but their root is still Exo. Even when they promote solo they promote as EXO Suho, Exo Baekhyun, they call their fans exo-ls etc.
And I enjoy their solo releases but Exo's music is still my favourite. I dont think I am alone
I agree that a group comeback would be nice before the rest of the members enlist.

Im not really familiar with iland, but if the show is in the summer, wouldn’t it make more sense to debut them at the beginning of next year? I guess enhyphen did debut right away.. I get you don’t want to loose the hype, but if you give them a variety show, showing them preparing for their debut I would think this would bring in more fans?
-
here’s my unpopular opinion but EXO has been given more opportunities as a whole and solo than practically all groups who debuted around the same time.
Yes, in recent years as a group, they haven't released much music, but half the group has been enlisted/inactive for some time now. It doesn’t really make sense to release music right now as a group.
Instead the members are being given tons of solo opportunities. I can’t name one group, who debuted 2012/2013 who’s members have had as many mini albums, OSTs, variety appearance, dramas, movies, photo shoots, concerts, etc, as the EXO members solo activities.
I think a few members will leave but the majority will resign for a few more years.

Having 3 girl groups debut within the same company just doesn’t make sense though… but then again making sakuras group and Min Hee Jin’s group wait anymore isn’t really feasible.
I’m actually surprised Sakura is going to re-debut. She’s going to be 24 in a few weeks which is 25/26 in Korean age and will be spending the next 7 years with this group.
My guess is only 2 groups will debut and the other group will be beginning of next year. Why would you make all three groups compete for rookie awards?

It's crazy though because it's not only BlackPink but all their artists...Treasure on hiatus for a whole year, AKMU having like 1 comeback a year for a while now, Blackpink go on a hiatus every other year, ikon's been over since BI left, CL never got to release anything, took 2 years for Rose and Lisa to debut solo, Somi finally got to release some songs last year....
I guess we'll never know the real reason unless one of these YG artists speaks up.
