When Teddy collab with other non-YG idols, his songs are more interesting for example Sunmi's Gashina & Heroine. Also more interesting when he worked with Psy. I think YG might have a certain arrangement / composition he envisioned for groups under YG. For example, the infamous party-ish last chorus,it is for engagement with audience towards end of stage. So you'll see the repetitive structure over and over again.
