This is actually the first time in a long time that I've heard a kpop song that really does feel like it absolutely targeted to early teens/pre-teens as a demographic. It's syrupy sweet, very safe and harmless and juvenile (not in the bad immature meaning of the word though).
Ultimately then, not for me. I like a bit more punch.
Same for me. While listening to the song, I felt like I was too old for this kind of songs.
Babymonster definitely, their stage presences and energy is much better. It is obvious that they will be more charismatic and fierce look. Even though I found the song strange at first, it has already starting catchy to my ear. I wonder what the album songs will be like.
I must give credit to Illit, of course, I also like bright concepts, I'm not think like those who are against sweet concepts, because all the songs were pleasing to my ears from the tracklist teaser. I think they will be successful too, but Babymonster has a stronger vibe.
I say BlackVelvet. Of course, if they did a Girlcrush mix dark concept, they would be compatible as a group. BlackVelvet's faces look more harmonious in the group photo. Aespa and Itzy are actually more compatible in terms of style and music, but they seem a little too separate as a group visual.
i agree Le Sserafim is good dancers but their hip-hop style dance is not that good. Most of the other girl groups are not much different from them either. Itzy is considered the best even by professional dancers. They say they are way above other girl groups. I think Itzy is the best in this regard. I never felt or saw the backup dancers overshadow Itzy in general
For some reason I feel like Illit's song will go viral. I think YG's decline has something to do with the company's influence and the success of some groups. And every new group Hybe has debuts has been very successful. As much as i love Babymonster i think they only going to viral for the global markets probably.
This is a good point. My frustration is mostly due to my assumption that she intentionally lost this weight to conform to krazy knet beauty standards (i'm remembering that nasty greasy haired dude complaining about Sulli's forearms or shins or something ridiculous like that).

So it's more a frustration against these shitty norms than her actually, and idols being pressured to conform to this or risk losing "popularity". The same thing has happened to some of my other faves like Yuri and Yena, they are shells of their former selves .
But you are right, there could be other reasons for weight loss, just as there are for weight gain.

Well, the who said this is a skinny, toothy teenager boy. I didn't even take it seriously when I looked at the person who stated this. I would probably tell the teenager that you should gain weight and gain muscle. If it were me, I would insist that there is no fat in my body that I need to lose weight.

My favorites are Dead Man Running, Anywhere but home and Los Angeles. These three songs reflect the entire vibe of the album and Seulgi's exact style.
This was easily the 3rd generation. Pink Venom, Umpah Umpah and Signal are better. Sneaker is my least favourite, Baddie is good but a bit simple and feels like a copy of Red Velvet's songs, Girls is good but Aespa's other songs are at a much higher level.

Best comment indeed that actually makes sense Otherwise, why would two beautiful women tire themselves out for such a subpar man? It's like there are no more attractive men left in Korea.
I agree about her skills but she isn't the visual there isn't an official visual she is more like the center of the group
If you're asking me about my visual opinion, I think Ruka is the prettiest. In my visual taste, Ruka is the most attractive. Ruka is also looks very natural and beautiful without make-up too. I think Ahyeon is definitely on the visual line.
What is she an ace of? She's not an ace of exuding the potential to be a star. Her visual is average for Kpop. Why is she popular? What has she done to garner her popularity? She hasn't even debuted yet.
Ahyeon vocals are not like any other visual member's. She sings like a diva, she's has star aura. Her evolution video gone viral. Her tone of voice very catchy. The girl has a dance style, she is the best 3rd member in rap style, she can belt easily in the high notes, probably she's best voice in the group. So what else are you looking for? The other visuals you praised either don't have good vocals, can't rap, or don't dance that well.
Their music style are always stable and solid quality. They just left out some Marvel fiction concept like Kwangya. Yes, those concepts were interesting, but not necessary.
