OMG, don't get me started on Genie. HATE IT. People think every other thing in kpop is a hidden cash grab. Genie is 100% a cash grab without the decency to even fake it.

Literally Genie is the. WORST. I most definitely agree that it's definitely something for Disney to make more and more money. It's called Genie probably because by downloading it and using it, you're making your money "disappear"
It took my family SO long to figure out how to make it work. We thought it was too difficult to finally understand, it was tedious to schedule ourselves for another ride after completing the one before, you have to pay for Genie+ itself and on top of that you have to pay extra for individual fast pass rides through the Lightning Lane...not to mention it was super buggy, bugs that slowed us down more than it sped our day up.
However, we were able to get on more attractions in a day than in 2020 when there was no fast pass for anything due to COVID (and you also had to wear your masks everywhere you went except when eating, basically). And we were also able to book restaurants that otherwise we wouldn't be able to get (you can book restaurants like 2 months before) so we were fortunate enough to eat at Belle's castle and The Crystal Palace which are extremely hard to get into. So it helped but at the same time, it was super annoying.
My parents told me of a time when there was just a thing where you could wear like a lanyard and special id or smth and you could go into a special line just by paying a few extra hundred dollars and it was as easy as that. Kind of like Universal Studios. That doesn't exist anymore 
and began shooting in the fall of 2017!
